The south side of the house was actually the entrance to the garage at the first floor. The entrance to the house is on the east side at the second floor facing Lake Sherwood.
A 4,500 sq. ft. garage lies at the heart of this Castle. It's fully air conditioned with porcelain tile flooring. Both ends are finished with mirror walls, wood wainscot and big screen TV's. The groin vault ceiling has a venetian plaster finish, spectacular!

The original design of this home was to be a traditional Tuscan style. However, I worked with the interior designer to change that to a more current "Transitional" style Tuscan. The color scheme and finish materials definitely reflect that.
